Internet Independent e-Learning

The Internet, however, is not the best place to store specific procedures and techniques. Not even when access is password protected. It is often very important that corporate knowledge does not fall in the hands of third parties.

Thanks to MUMETT, electronic training courses run on totally secured stand-alone PC’s, on client-server networks and onto an intranet environment. A desktop PC with only a readable drive without any other input and output data interface is an optimal configuration to protect specific shop floor knowledge against illegal content copying.

In addition, MUMETT provides a compact way to record shop floor knowledge. You will not stray from the main issue with MUMETT. Contrary to E-learning through the Internet, E-learning using MUMETT ensures that people are not distracted by the many ridiculous websites, chat boxes, messengers, games, communities and so many other matters that are freely available on the Internet.

Another advantage is that MUMETT transfers audio and video optimally, while the capacity for this on the Internet is often not sufficiently fast. Although ADSL – also known as fast Internet access – is being accepted by more and more users, the largest part of the world remains deprived from this. Slow and often interrupted communication lines make the use of E-learning through the Internet difficult in many countries. Lessons running in MUMETT are created in a stand-alone environment and can be distributed on a CD together with the LMS of MUMETT. There is also a lighter version of MUMETT that can be used to create learning packages whose lessons are importable in the latest version of the MUMETT software.
