If you wish to train skills specifically through MUMETT then the ORBIT8 method is an ACTIVE LEARNING OPTION to train teaching material theoretically and practically. This Orbit8 method is derived from the Leittexte method where the stress is on independent and systematic learning.

You will, as the trainer, have a COACHING ROLE and you do not have to be permanently deployed during the course. An EXTENSIVE INDEPENDENCE AND HIGH LEARNING ATTITUDE is, after all, expected from the course member with the Orbit8 method. He/She will master the teaching material through MUMETT before he/she goes to the shop floor.

The course member will then explain to the supervisor on the shop floor how he/she will carry out the work. This supervisor only needs to make adjustments when the actions are not fully mastered.

The best results can be achieved if you start with a task analysis using the VECTES MODEL: A well-proven model to analyse a task in a standardised manner so that all elements are safeguarded uniformly. The model’s structure ensures, on the one hand, that these elements can be easily implemented in MUMETT and, on the other hand, that this structure fits in sufficiently with the learning method of the Orbit8 method.
